Having worked with people with a disability and other vulnerable people for more than 30 years, Julie knows the value of people feeling valued, being recognised and expressing their true self. Being creative can help achieve this and more. So it is logical that live4art chooses to give back to others through supporting art programs for children and young adults with a disability.
During a brief respite from Melbourne’s many Covid lockdown’s we were able to hold a class for young people with Autism and their mum’s. It was a great success, with the participants enjoying the experience of how the paint moved, the focus on the process and the outcome. They all did a ring pour which they are now proudly displaying in their homes.
